Desiree Goldey

Director, Talent Operations & Culture

Founder, Do Better Consulting

From my early days in the hospitality sector, where I navigated challenges as a black woman striving to make ends meet, to my current role in talent operations, my journey has been driven by a relentless pursuit of diversity, equity, and inclusion. My experiences, marked by perseverance and ascension against the odds, have profoundly shaped my advocacy for fair and equitable treatment in the workplace.

Now, as the Director of Talent Operations and Culture, I am at the forefront of championing equitable hiring practices. My focus is not just on educating others about diversity and inclusion but also on ensuring that candidates are compensated fairly based on their skills and experience. I believe that equitable pay is a crucial step in propelling our society toward a more inclusive future.

I am thrilled to partner with organizations like hr-4u, which align with my ethos of ‘doing better, people.’ Together, we aim to tackle systemic issues head-on. By advocating for fair compensation, we’re not just addressing income inequality; we’re also contributing to broader societal impacts like reducing homelessness and crime. This is a movement, and every single one of us can be a catalyst for change. I am committed to being that change-maker every single day, and I invite you to join us in this journey towards a more equitable and just world. #dobetterpeople
